Kilcock Junior Open - You were in Good Company if you were there on Sunday
Kilcock Canoe Polo Club strikes gold again as they take 1st place in the U18 Junior Competition beating North Kildare 3 -2 in the finals.
Yesterday , Sunday the 31st of August, Kilcock Canoe Polo Club hosted the Junior Canoe Polo Open Competition for U18's & U14's. There were 4 X U18 teams and 5 X U14 teams participating from Kilkenny, WWKC, KCPC and North Kildare.
This is really the icing on the cake for the club as they are still celebrating their win last Sunday of the Demons team winning the Club Championships (3rd year in a row). Our U18 players were aged from 14 years of age to 17 years of age. The U18 team, Good Company were as follows: Justin Cullinane, Marc Denmead, Alan Morgan, Sean Hendrick, Ciaran Fitzgerald and John McSweeney. Like the Demons last weekend they won all their matches during the day and took gold in the Finals. Well done to all
