Team Ireland have won gold at the Atlantic Watersports Games in Portugal beating Catalunya 5 4 in a gripping final. This is the first time since 2002 that Ireland have won the annual event. The team made up of Mark Mc Cormack Ciaran McCormack Paddy Mooney Declan Phealan Sean Hendrick and Sean Delaney won all of their games during the tournament, represented Ireland with great pride and played in a good sporting friendly manner. The team will be presented with their gold medals at the closing ceremony on Thursday and will return home on Friday.
