Kilcock Canoe Polo Team to represent Ireland at the Celtic Games
Kilcock Canoe Polo club have been selected by the Irish Canoe Union to represent Ireland at the upcoming Celtic Games in Portugal. The club applied to an advert on the ICU website looking for participants for the games and where selected to represent the country. "It is a great honour for the club to be chosen to represent Ireland at the Celtic Games” said Tom Colton chairperson of the club. "It is 2002 since Ireland won the canoe polo event at the games when they where held here in Ballyshannon. We are hopeful of a good result"
The team consists of Paddy Mooney, Ciaran McCormack, Mark McCormack, Sean Hendrick, Sean Delaney and Declan Phelan. Tom Colton will be travelling as Team Manager and Official for the event and will also represent the ICU at any of the official functions.
