KCPC Committee & Members would like to wish the Irish U21 and Irish Mens Team the very best of luck at the Canoe Polo World Championships in Milan, Italy.
U21 are: Justin Cullinane, John McSweeney, Marc Denmead, Sean Hendrick (KCPC), James Mahon, David Mongey, Ben Brogan (NKCC) & Daragh Downey (WWKC).
Men are: Paddy Mooney, Gareth Carroll, Declan Phelan (KCPC), Niall Reilly (NKCC), Shane Kinsella & Cathal Gorman (WWKC).

'DEMONS' are Irish Canoe Polo Club Champions for the fifth consecutive year!

Demons won their title last weekend 21st & 22nd August in Athy, Co. Kildare.
Wildwater came second, Swink third and fourth was our 2nd Div 1 team, Devils.

60 combatants have stepped up to the mark and hope to be LAST MAN STANDING!
€300 will go to the Club and €300 will go to winner(s).

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to make sure your team is entered every week before the deadline. Rules are attached. Selections will be attached each Friday night by midnight. Kilcock Open 2010 - in action
A great time was enjoyed by spectators and paddlers alike this weekend 17th & 18th July 2010 at the Harbour in Kilcock! Three teams came from France for the weekend and enjoyed the hospitality of KCPC so much they want to come back again, but we hope that next time, they will bring some sunshine, as unfortunately there was not a whole lot of it about.

The Kilcock Junior Open 2010 was sponsored by Waterways Ireland.
A fantastic day was had by all and the weather was fantastic too!
Kilkenny met Wildwater in the final in the U16 division. Wildwater took gold.
Kilcock and Ballina met in the U14 division and tied for joint first place.
Dads Army from Wildwater won U12's. 2nd place was Noisy Kids and 3rd place was Signets. Every player got a 'goody bag' and it was a very enjoyable, relaxing and fun day for organisers, members and visiting teams alike so everyone is looking forward to the next one!!

Devils played at Docklands last weekend 8th/9th May and after some great canoe polo took third spot. Devils team were:Justin Cullinane, Sean Hendrick, John McSweeney, Marc Denmead, Alan Morgan & George Kosinski.

Senior Members: Training Sessions 7.30pm to 9.30pm Tues/Thurs.
Sunday 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
Junior Members: Training Session 6.45pm to 8.15pm Tues/Thurs.
Beginners: Class starting 6.30pm Tues 25th May 2010. Contact Patricia McCormack 087 6450544 to enrol.
Mini League(Juniors) starting June 2010 and continuing monthly Saturday mornings until September.
Provisional dates: 12th June, 10th July, 21st August, 18th September.

DEMONS IN CHARLEROI THIS WEEKEND! sticky icon

Demons travelled to Charleroi, Belgium this weekend for competition May 1st & 2nd 2010 accompanied by their Manager Peter Fitzgerald despite his injuries!

They played fantastic canoe polo on Saturday and made it through to the Top 12 (out of 36 teams). On Sunday they won their first match unfortunately they missed out on the next one to get them into the top 4. They did however take 6th place, a great achievement. It also means that they will be seeded in next years competition, which is the first time a team from Ireland, has been seeded in this Internationally renowned competition.

PAS DE CALAIS COMPETITION 2010 sticky icon

Demons held their own in Calais 10th/11th April 2010! Demons came third, repeating the result of 2009, though this time beating St. Omer in a golden goal quarter final, but losing to Meridian in the semi final. Meridian went on to win the competition.
The lads thoroughly enjoyed competition as always. Demons team was Sean Delaney, Brian Devlin, Gareth Carroll, Declan Phelan, Stephen Davenport, Paddy Mooney, Ciaran & Mark McCormack (capt). Manager: Peter Fitzgerald.

Results were: Demons v Montigny 4-1.
Acigne V Demons 3-4.
Descartes V Demons 1-13.
Demons V L’ouilly 10-1.

By now you have been contacted by telephone or email and told which group you are in to start the season 2010.

Senior Members will return Tues 13th April and Thurs 15th April @ 7.30pm and every Tues/Thurs after that.

Junior Members will return Tues 20th April @ 6.45pm until 8.15pm. Sessions are on a Tues evening only but will start up on tues and Thurs from 4th/6th May.

We will keep you updated here when groups/dates/times are confirmed.
